D. João Luís de Vasconcelos e Meneses (1600-1633)
The illegitimate great-great-grandson of the 2nd Count of Penela. Son of D. Afonso de Vasconcelos e Meneses and D. Sebastiana de Macedo, Lords of Mafra. Captain-General of Mazagão, married to Maria Cabral de Noronha. He took possession of Mafra illegally. In 1624, he planned to found a convent of Arrábidos friars in the town, investing his earnings in Ericeira. The project fell through, as he had gone to Madrid to take up the title of Count of Ribamar, which he had coveted and died there. Possession of Mafra returned to the Crown.
D. Diogo de Lima Brito Nogueira (1615-1685)
7th Viscount of Vila Nova de Cerveira. He received Mafra by royal decree of King João IV in 1648. He married D. Joana de Vasconcelos e Meneses (second marriage), daughter of D. João Luís de Vasconcelos e Meneses and D. Maria de Noronha. With D. Joana, the Morgado de Soalhães, also known as Mafra, entered the Viscount family.

10th Viscount of Vila Nova de Cerveira. Brother of the previous ones. Married D. Vitória de Bourbon, widow of the 7th Count of Atouguia.

11th Viscount of Vila Nova de Cerveira. He married D. Maria de Hohenloe.
D. Maria Xavier de Lima e Hohenloe (1697-1730)
12th Viscountess of Vila Nova de Cerveira, heiress to the entire house of her parents and grandparents. She married her uncle, Tomás da Silva Teles, son of the 2nd Marquises of Alegrete, Viscount by marriage.
D. Tomás Xavier de Lima Nogueira Vasconcelos Teles da Silva (1727-1800)
13th Viscount of Vila Nova de Cerveira and 1st Marquis of Ponte de Lima, a noble title created by Queen Maria I of Portugal on 17 December 1790. He succeeded the Marquis of Angeja as Minister of Kingdom Affairs, replacing him on an interim basis as President of the Royal Treasury due to his illness. When the Marquis died, he was to take up the post permanently in 1788. Other offices and dignities he held: Councillor of State, Grand Cross of the Order of Christ, Chief Steward of the Royal Household, President of the Finance Council and of the Provisional Board of the Treasury, of the Board of the administration of the funds applied to the payment of the new loan, President of the Royal Board of Trade, of the medical post, of the full and ordinary boards for the Revision and Censorship of the New Code, Inspector General of Public Works, Director and Inspector of the Royal College of Nobles, Inspector General of the Royal Public Library, honorary member of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Lisbon, and one of the honorary Presidents of the Royal Maritime, Military and Geographical Society. He married Eugénia Maria Josefa de Bragança, daughter of the 4th Marquises of Alegrete, on 4th July 1749.
